I
'm very lucky to have the job that I do. I was excited when Hafiz contacted me to ask me to photograph their wedding. We were high school classmates - it's always exciting news to get random calls from past acquaintances, friends, and school mates to ask me to take part in their big day. I've had a fantastic week spending time with Joann and Hafizs' friends and family to celebrate their marriage. It's definitely a nice bonus to be taken to these tropical locations to get away from the Edmonton winter, however I do miss my wife and dog immensely and look forward to seeing them Sunday night. Also, it just so happens that two of the guests, Nelson (Hafizs' best man) and Kaitlin, are clients of mine who's wedding i'll be photographing in March! A huge thank you to Nelson and Kaitlin for helping me out during the photos and being my human light stands.
